Hello!  My name is Shenika Carpenter.  This is my 25th year in education.  I am the Behavior Support Teacher here at Loachapoka Elementary.  My area of focus is the social-emotional learning of our students to assist them in developing the self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills that are vital for school and life success.  Research indicates that people with strong social-emotional skills are better able to cope with everyday challenges and benefit academically and socially.
