Announcements - Monday 03/20/23
Our boys golf team remains undefeated for the season after beating Opelika and Beulah last Tuesday and beating Valley last Thursday. In Tuesday's match Riley Wilson was the low score of the round with a 43 and our boys set a team score record of 226. Team scores were Riley Wilson (43), Trent Moulton (45), Alex Martin (45), Fuller Lawler (45), and Hunter Brock (48).
Our girls golf team split their matchups this season losing a close one against Opelika High School last Tuesday. Kylee Lynn was the low score of that match with a 35. Our girls won on Thursday beating Valley with a team score of 165. Kylee Lynn posted a season low round of 33.
Our next golf match will be this week when the girls take on Auburn High School.
The BHS soccer teams both won region games last week against Tallassee.
The girls team was led by Kylie Jo Stevenson who had a hat trick of 3 goals and Emilly Isaula picked up her first goal of the season as the Hornets won 4-0. This puts the Varsity girls at 3-1 in the region.
The Varsity boys were able to push past Tallassee with a score of 3-1. Logan Ballew added 1 goal to his resume and Josh Lugo picked up 2 goals. The Varsity boys continue their climb as they move to 2-2 in the region.
The next home game is tomorrow (03/21). The Varsity girls will host Eufaula at 5:00 p.m. Come out and show your support!
FBLA Shoe drive continues through March 24. Clean out your closet and donate your gently used or new shoes. All sizes and all types of shoes are needed.

ACT Prep Opportunity Announcement
Please be aware of the ACT Prep opportunity announcement below. This session follows the school's administration of the ACT for 10th and 11th grade students; however, it might be highly beneficial to students planning to take the exam for a second or third time, etc. Spaces are limited; therefore, a student must register to participate in the prep session.
