Ms. Chase was born and raised in the Union Community near Dadeville, Alabama. She pursued her education at Troy State University, earning a degree in Studio Art. Her teaching career began at Valley High School, and she joined Smiths in 2012. Currently, she instructs Visual Arts, Adaptive Arts, Ceramics II (Pottery I), and Ceramics III (Pottery II), while also serving as a co-sponsor of the Art Club. Ms. Chase is a mother to three children: McKinna, Jake, and Knox.
