The 2022-2023 school year will be my 16th year as a Physical Education teacher in Smiths Station Schools.   I am originally from Sawyerville, AL.  I attended Auburn University where I received my Bachelors (2007) and Masters (2008) in Physical Education.  I am also an adjunct professor in the Health and Wellness Department at Southern Union State Community College in Opelika.  I am looking forward to a great year at Smiths Station High School. 

As we begin a new school year we are looking forward to having your child in our physical education program here at Smiths Station High School. Our ultimate goal is to educate your child about the importance of exercise and motivate him/her to participate in a lifetime of physical activity by exploring all avenues for healthy activities and wellness. We hope to provide each child with many opportunities to succeed.
