Hi! Welcome to my teacher page! This year marks 16 years as a Smiths Station panther for me. I started my teaching career at Smiths and love it! I currently teach Honors English 10, the elective Bible as Literature, and the leadership class. Before teaching 10th grade, I taught 9th grade Pre-AP and CP English. In addition to teaching, I am also the Student Council sponsor.

My alma mater is Lanett High School in Lanett, AL. After graduating from there in 2002, I attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham, where I earned a Bachelor's in Science in Secondary Education for English. 

I live a little bit of the country life in Cusseta, AL, with my husband Ben and our three kids: Sadie-Anne (ten years old), Mason (six years old) and Cruz (four years old). Our family also includes our four rescue dogs: Belle, Copper, Emmie, and Lieutenant Dan. Some of my favorite things are Jesus, Dr. Pepper, Alabama football and the beach!
