Hi! I would like to welcome you into my class. My name is Chere’ Smith; I am starting my 21st year with Lee County Schools and 22nd year teaching. This will be my eleventh year teaching high school; my tenth year at Smiths Station High School. I will be teaching Chemistry, Physics, Physical Science and Honors Physical Science. In these classes there is a strong emphasis on inquiry learning through lab experiences and the use of technology. It prepares students for college physical sciences and the advancement in our society. Science is something I have loved since my own high school years and decided to share my passion with others through teaching. Just a few of my hobbies include reading, scrapbooking, crafting, photography and traveling.  I also love Disney and the Crimson Tide!
