My name is Karen Jones. I am one of the three Physical Education teachers at W.E.S. I have taught P.E. for 27 years in Lee County Schools. I now have some of my former students' children!!! I graduated from AUM with a bachelor's in science.  I am married to Billy Jones and we have four children. Our oldest son is a graduate of Auburn University (War Eagle) and is marrying the love of his life in December. Our oldest daughter is a swimmer at the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig). She is currently working on her masters'.  Fun fact: she swam in the Olympic Trials in 2021 and 2024!! Our youngest daughter is a member of PHI MU sorority and in nursing school at Troy University. The baby of the family is starting his senior year at Opelika High School. He plays football and baseball and is currently committed to continue playing baseball at Wallace of Dothan Junior College.
