  • The Lee County Area College & Career Night will be held at Opelika High School on Tuesday August 27,2019 from 6pm until 8pm central standard time, 7-9pm eastern standard time.  Seniors that attend need to sign in with the guidance counselors to be entered for the Lee County Book Scholarship!  Hope to see you there!!!

  • Ascent Student Loans is committed to investing in the success of students. This summer, starting July 8th, 2019, Ascent is giving away $50,000 in scholarships. Students (18+) will have a chance to win $1,000 every day, for 50 days.

    Students can enter for the chance to win on the Ascent website after completing a series of tasks on social media that will only take a few minutes.

    Here's how to enter:

    OppU Scholarship application can be accessed at our scholarship portal where students can submit their application essay. We accept applications year round, but our current submission cycle will close in December.

    Scholarship Name: OppU Achievers Scholarship

    Award Amount: $2,500

    Eligibility: High school seniors, college students, graduate students; cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0; U.S. citizen or resident
