My name is Dylan Nevels, I am currently 30 years old, and have been happily married to my wife, Courtney Nevels, for four years. Courtney and I have a beautiful baby girl, who will be two years old in December, named Hadley Grace Nevels. I am so excited to be teaching 7th Grade Civics/Geography at SSJH. I am currently entering my 7th year teaching and my 6th in Lee County. I graduated from Smiths Station High School in 2011. I then moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama where I attended Shelton State Community College. After obtaining my Associate's Degree, I transferred to the University of Alabama and received my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education Social Science. After receiving my degree, I moved to Orlando, Florida and taught 8th Grade United States History at Lake Nona Middle School. As I begin my 7th year teaching, I am extremely fortunate to be back in my hometown and in the same hallways that I went to school in. I currently coach 9th/JV baseball and sponsor the Jr. Station Delegation, here at SSJH. I also enjoy spending time with family, hunting/fishing, and golfing in my spare time.
