Jerry Myers

I graduated high school in Montgomery at Jeff Davis in 1975. I played college baseball at the University of Montevallo. I recieved my B.S. in Physical Education and History in 1980. I returned to Montevallo as assistant baseball coach in 1981 and got my masters in Educational Administration in 1983. After graduating, I moved to Vero Beach. I taught History and P.E. at Sebastian River Middle School from 1984-1987. I then returned to Troy, Alabama and taught Elementary P.E. and coached baseball at Charles Henderson High School. After two years I taught History at Goshen High School and coached football and baseball. Then after two years I taught History and P.E. at Zion Chapel High School for one year. 

In 1993 I moved to Opelika and coached football and baseball at Beauregard High School until 2000. I have continued to teach P.E. at Beauregard Elementary and have been here 24 years. 

My wife is a native of St. Simons Island, GA and we have three children: Starlyn (married to Zach Teel), Michaela and Judson. We have one granddaughter from Starlyn and Zach and her name is Lena.
