Loachapoka Elementary School

Greetings Loachapoka Elementary School students, parents and stakeholders,

I am happy to be at Loachapoka Elementary School at this point in my career. This is my 19th year in education. I have been a classroom teacher, Title I Teacher, instructional coach and assistant principal. I have been happily married to Mr. Lamarrius Anderson for over 27 years. Mr. Anderson is the principal of Dixie Elementary School in Russell County. We have three adult daughters; Jessica, Hiedi and Haley. Jessica is a second-grade teacher. Hiedi is a RN and Haley is in school to be a dental hygienist. 

After serving as the assistant principal for three years, it gives me great pleasure to be the principal of Loachapoka Elementary School. I am so proud of all of the accomplishments this school has made. I look forward to many successes as the year progresses. I truly believe that together we can do great things! Our school theme this year was voted on by faculty and staff and together we decided that "Oh, the Places We Will Go" adequately depicts the direction we will move in this school year. With your support, we will excel in all of our endeavors. I look forward to an amazing year of learning and achievement!
