Hello, my name is Blair Clanton.  I have been a teacher in the Lee County school system for the past 7 years here at SMS. I have taught Reading/ Language Arts. I previously taught Kindergarten in Mobile County Public School System for 14 years.  I am from Fort Payne, AL.  I am married and have a son who is in the 10th grade this year at Auburn High School. I also have a daughter in 8th grade at Auburn Junior High School.  I received my associates degrees from Gadsden State Community College, my bachelor's degree from Auburn University in Elementary Education, and my master's degree from University of South Alabama in Elementary Education.  I love teaching and helping my students achieve their goals.
