An Opelika native, I am a life-long resident of Lee County and am proud to be raising my family where I grew up. I attended Troy University for both of my degrees; Bachelor's in Print Journalism and a Master's in Secondary Education. My husband, Josh, and I have two beautiful kids together, McKinley and Jackson. 

I began teaching at Smiths Station High School in 2018. I teach 11th and 12th grade Dual Enrollment English. In addition to teaching, I also sponsor FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and National Honor Society, and I am the advisor for The Panther Press online newspaper.
