My name is Samantha Shanks. I have a Masters degree in Elementary Education. I started my teaching career in first grade but have been teaching kindergarten for the last few years. 

I love teaching kindergarten and watching your children grow academically and socially while they are in my room. I am married and have two daughters and two dogs. I love all things Disney, crafting, and spend a lot of time with my nose in a book. 

We mostly use hands on learning in my room and I like to learn through exploration. My favorite thing about being a teacher is seeing the "lightbulb" moment when they make a new discovery! I cannot wait to meet your family and help your child grow.
