Hello, my name is Mr. Michael Barnhill. I am the Resource teacher here at Loachapoka High School. I have worked with children in many capacities. I have spent over 12 years working with children with various challenges. I am a father of two kids who currently attend school in the Smiths Station area.  I attended Troy University on a full football scholarship and received my first Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism.  I have always loved working with kids and therefore my sights led me to pursue a second degree in Education. One of my biggest hobbies is that I love to fish and sing. However, my biggest goal is making sure kids are provided every resource possible to achieve their educational goals and dreams.
