I am currently beginning my thirteenth year working in the Lee County Schools. I have been at Beauregard High School for the past ten years. I currently serve as a paraprofessional specializing in transition. I was born and raised in Opelika but lived in Melbourne, Florida for 6 years and West Palm Beach, Florida for 13 years before moving back to Opelika. I served as a Girl Scout Leader for 28 years and continue to volunteer as a mentor for new troops.

Hiking, camping, and backpacking is what I enjoy during my free time, having backpacked a significant portion of the Pacific Crest Trail, along with spending time with family.  

My family consists of 5 children who all graduated from Beauregard High School, two were salutatorians and one was the valedictorian of his class.  We have 3 dogs, a turtle, and a bearded dragon.
