Welcome parents and students! My name is Amy Skoglund, and I am excited about teaching 3rd grade here at South Smiths Station Elementary! My husband, Ian, and I are residents of Smiths, and we have two daughters, Madelyn and Makenna, who both attend Smiths Station Schools. Madelyn is 14 years old and Makenna is 12 years old. This is my 18th year of teaching and I have taught Kindergarten through 3rd grades. I graduated from Jacksonville State University with my Bachelors degree in 2006, and Troy University with my Master’s degree in 2009. Also, I became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2020. I have a passion for teaching students and I look forward to a great year!
