Carolyn Andrews specializes in Physical Science and Forensic Science, bringing 24 years of teaching experience, with 20 years in Georgia and 4 years at SSHS. Her professional background includes serving as a 7th Grade Science teacher and Team Leader, Instructional Coach, Gifted Collaborator, and Test Coordinator at W.R. Coile Middle School in Athens, GA, from 2000 to 2019. She then worked as a Science teacher and Family Engagement Coordinator at Classic City High School in Athens during the 2019-2020 academic year. Currently, she teaches High School Science, focusing on Physical Science, Chemistry, and Forensics at SSHS since 2020. Carolyn holds a B.S. in Medical Technology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (December 1994), an M.A.T. in Secondary Science from Piedmont College (May 2000), and an Ed.S. in Leadership from The University of Georgia (May 2011).
