Mrs. Natasha M. Rabinowitz, MS, MA

I have been teaching at the secondary level since 2011. I am a 7th and 8th grade science teacher here at Sanford Middle School. Our goal is to help our students reach the NEXT LEVEL in their academic careers. Last year I was a Virtual Instructor for Lee County Schools. Previously, I have taught 6-12 in Hartford, Connecticut and 6th and 7th grade science at Northeast Middle School (NEMS) in Tifton, GA.

In addition to teaching in the classroom, I work hard to keep myself current in the field of education. I have completed the Aspiring Leaders Program with Tift County Schools, received a Gifted in-field Endorsement and I have taken several courses on ESOL instruction. I actively participate in professional development opportunities and presentations at the state and national science association conferences. This fall I will be starting my PhD at Auburn University in Administration of Supervision and Curriculum program.

In addition, I strive to be an active member of the community; I have previously been an elected member of the Local School Governance Team and 4-H liaison at NEMS. I have severed as a Senior Educational Advisory Board member for and currently serving on the NGSS@NSTA Advisory Board through 2023. My goal is to bring a strong science education to students in all grades, and create a love and passion for learning.
