Bachelor's of Science in Biology/Chemistry Education Master's in Biology Education

Mrs. Michelle Eastridge

Hello to all!  I would like to welcome you all to my class!  I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Biology/Chemistry Education from Auburn University in 1997.  I also have a Master's in Biology Education from Columus State University.  I have reached a point in my career where I am beginning to teach the children of my previous students.  It is rewarding to be able to see how successful my former students are, and how their personalities are expressed in their own children.  I am a Biology teacher here at the Smiths Station Freshman Center.  In my career, I have taught Biology, Pre-AP/Honors Biology, AP Biology, Chemistry, Pre-AP Chemistry, AP Chemistry, Physical Science, and Forensic Science.  I am looking forward to teaching the subject that is my passion to the students this year.  The Smiths Station Freshman Center is a wonderful place to be!  I am sure everyone will love it as much as I do!

I graduated from Smiths Station High School in 1991.  I married my high school sweetheart, Shane, in 1993.  We have 2 wonderful children.  We have one son named Kris, and one daughter named Sierra.  I also have one granddaughter named Berkley and three grandsons named Grayson, Hudson, and Barrett.  Both of our children are grown now, so we have 3 dachshunds that we take most places with us now.  Their names are Oscar, Zoey, and Dixie.
