I was born and raised in Beauregard, AL.! I graduated from Beauregard High School in 2008.  I went to Southern Union and got my associates in Cosmetology, decided that that was not my calling, and went back to school for Elementary Education at Auburn University. I graduated from Auburn with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I began my teaching career subbing, and as a contract tutor in Lee County, and after that I became a parapro at Wacoochee. In 2020, I was hired as a Kindergarten teacher, then in 2022 I moved to First Grade!

I love traveling and spending time with my family. I have 3 cats; Prince Fiyero (named after my favorite play Wicked), Prince Caspian (named after author C.S. Lewis' character), and Bahia (named after where I found him, Bahia Honda Key). My favorite snacks are Reeses, Sour gummies, Celsius, and Coke Zero!
