Greetings! My name is Brandy Riley and I am the Lead Teacher in one of the First Class Pre-K classrooms here at SSSES. I am excited to meet your family! This is an exciting time for you and your child!
I want to let you know a little about me. I was born and raised in the Smiths Station, Alabama area. I have a wonderful husband to whom I have been married to for 20 years. We have 2 children, a 21-year-old daughter and an 18-year-old son.
After graduating high school, I immediately went to work teaching Pre-K at a local church for several years. I tried the corporate world for a while. That is when I had my first child and became a stay-at-home mom for many years. While doing that, I decided to go back to school to become a teacher. I taught Kindergarten for 6 years and K-1 SPED for 2 years. This is my 3rd year as a Pre-K teacher at South. I have loved every minute of this job and couldn’t imagine doing anything else with my life.
When I’m not at school, I coach the cross-country and track teams for the high school and Jr High school. I enjoy spending time with my family. We are definitely a beach-loving family and spend many weeks there every year.
God has truly blessed me with a wonderful family and a profession that I love.
