I am very excited about teaching at SMS.  I have been teaching math at the middle school and high school level for 9 years.  I have a Bachelor's in Math from Samford University and a Masters in Secondary Education from AUM.  I also enjoy coaching.  I have had the privilege of helping with the middle school and varsity girls basketball teams for the past two years.    I have three children, ages 7, 12, and 15.  They keep me busy and entertained.  When I'm not at school or coaching, I love the lake and the beach.  My mother lives on Lake Martin, so I am able to escape frequently to her house.
