Hi! My name is Joni Jones, and our family has enjoyed being part of the Beauregard community for a couple of years now. My husband, Justin, is the football coach at BHS, and we have three children - Abby (12th grade), Cub (10th grade), and Kaleb (8th grade). I enjoy spending time with friends and family, especially when it involves sports and being at a ball field. I will be teaching 6th grade Science for the 2024-2025 school year. This will be my 12th year teaching, and I am looking forward to making this my best year yet! Go Hornets!

My teaching career began as a 5th grade teacher for 3 years in the Coffee County School System before I transferred to the Enterprise City School System to teach 4th grade for 2 more years. At that time, I was privileged to be able to start staying at home with our children & continued to do so for the next 10 years. Upon returning to the classroom, I taught 2nd & 4th grades again.

In December of 2001, I graduated with a B.S. degree in K-6 Elementary Education from Troy State University. In December of 2003, I graduated from Troy for the 2nd time with a Master’s Degree in K-6 Elementary Education. I am also a 6th-8th grade Science TEAMS teacher, AMSTI trained, and STEM certified. As a teacher, I believe it is important to always continue to learn!
