Bio:

Tal Morrison is a native of Wedowee, AL.  He graduated from Randolph County High School in May 1999 where he played football, basketball and baseball.  Tal was a member of the 1998 State Runner-up football team, and received All-County, All-Area, and Honorable Mention All-State honors.  Upon graduating from high school, Tal attended US Army ROTC Leadership/Basic Training at Fort Knox, KY, graduating in July 1999. 

Collegiate Background: Tal attended Southern Union State Community College (Wadley, AL) where he was an Ambassador, a member of the Show Choir and worked as a Resident Hall Assistant; graduating in May 2001 with an A.S. in General Studies.  He then enrolled at Knox College (Galesburg, IL) where he obtained his B.S. Secondary Education/Social Science Degree (2004) and was a member of the Knox College (DIII) Prairie Fire football team as a player and then as a student coach and special assistant to the athletic director.  Upon graduating from Knox College, Tal accepted a job as Assistant Coach/Offensive Line at Kentucky Wesleyan College (Owensboro, KY), which he held until May 2005.  He then took a graduate assistant position at Jacksonville State University (Jacksonville, AL) as Offensive GA, and was later promoted to Director of Football Operations.  While at JSU, Tal obtained his M.S. in Educational Leadership (2007).

Education Career: Tal began his teaching career at Benjamin Russell High School (Alexander City) in 2008, where he taught Psychology, Sociology, US History I, US History II and World History.  He coached football (Co-Offensive Coor., Run Game Coor., Recruiting Coor., Offensive Line Coach) and softball (MS Softball Coach (3 yrs.) and Head Softball Coach (3 yrs.)).  In March 2017, Tal was named the Athletic Director/Head Football Coach at Chilton County High School (Clanton) where he served in those roles for 5 years.  He taught Athletic PE.  

Family: Tal is married to Nikki Taylor Morrison, a native of Roanoke, AL, and they have two sons, Jake Morrison and Judd Morrison.
