I graduated from the University of Alabama in May 2013 with a bachelor's degree in general and special education and again with my master's degree in gifted and talented education in December 2016.  I am from the Huntsville area of North Alabama.  I met my husband, Paul, while attending college in Tuscaloosa.  We have been married since 2013 and are the proud parents of our beautiful daughter Rebekah, sweet son Titus, and an energetic rescue dog named Cooper!

Prior to becoming a Lee County Schools gifted teacher in 2018, my teaching experience includes three years as a 2nd grade teacher and two years as a 3rd grade teacher.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking, playing piano, reading, and gardening.  I have the BEST job in the world, and I am so grateful that I get to do what I love every single day!
