This is my second year at South Smiths Station Elementary School as a Special Education teacher. I have 18 years of educational experience starting my career as a kindergarten paraprofessional. Over the years, I worked with students in preschool through 12th grade. Most recently, I have worked overseas as a training and curriculum specialist, training teachers and administrators. I received my undergrade in special education from the University of Georgia, a masters' in Curriculum and Instruction, and by the fall of 2024 will have earned my Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction.  

I have been married for 27 years, have 3 grown sons and grandchildren. My hobbies are playing and watching sports, spending time with family, scuba diving, and doing everything outdoors.
