Dr. Luis Munoz


The teacher was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
He came to the
United States in 2008 on a scholarship to study music
(piano) at Columbus State
University, Columbus, GA. The teacher has
lived in Georgia, Alabama, New Orleans,
Virginia, and again is in
Alabama. He lived in Eufaula for serveral years and currently lives
in Phenix City.


He earned his doctoral degree (Ph.D. in Theology) in 2020 by studying
at New Orleans
Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA.
His other academic credentials include
the Master of Theology (Th.M.)
and Master of Arts degrees from New Orleans Baptist
Theological
Seminary, the Master of Divinity degree from Liberty University, the
Master of Music in Piano Performance and Bachelor of Arts from Columbus
State
University.

Dr. Muñoz married the beautiful Mrs. Holly Munoz in 2013. They have 4
children:
William, Alexander, Nathan, and Dominic.

Currently, Dr. Muñoz starts his first year teaching as Smiths Station
High.
Previously, Dr. Muñoz taught Spanish at Eufaula High School in
Eufaula, Alabama.
Dr. Muñoz also works as an adjunct teacher for New
Orleans Baptist Theological
Seminary in New Orleans, LA and Leavell
College in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Muñoz is also
a bi-vocational pastor
who loves working in any area of the church where he serves.

Dr. Muñoz has also served as preacher, worship leader, and youth
minister in the past. The teacher's hobbies are playing the piano, lifting weights/exercise,

watching movies with the wife, playing with his children, and
