My name is Heather Blain and I have been teaching for 20 years now. I taught elementary PE for 13 years at Phenix City Elementary before moving to teach for 6 years at West Smiths Station Elementary School. This year is my first year SSHS as the girls' strength and conditioning coach. I also am the Head Varsity Cheer Coach, and I am an Assistant Coach for Indoor and Outdoor Track. I love being at SSHS and working with the athletes in our community. My alma mater is Smiths Station High School. After graduating from here, I attended Auburn University and Columbus State University, where I earned my Bachelor's and Master's in Health and PE. I have been happily married to David Blain for 20 years, and we have three kids; Brandt, Bence, and Brentley.
