Hi!

My name is Leslie Thompson and I will be your child's first grade teacher this year.  I have been teaching since 1985.  I took one year off to work in a ski resort in Colorado and then later four years off to hang out with my son when he was a baby.  Other than that I've been teaching.   I look forward to what will be a great year with your child.  

I have a son who is a car mechanic and he has two beautiful girls.  He is married to Becca.  I love to spend time with them.  I also enjoy traveling but don't do a lot of that anymore.  I've traveled to Germany, Iceland, Switzerland, and Alaska among other places.  

We should have a wonderful year and I hope that you feel that you can communicate with me when needed.  I do like to keep the lines of communication open.
