Hi! My name is Sonya Whitmer, and I am the 7th grade counselor here at Smiths Station Junior High School. This is my fourth year at SSJHS and my twelfth year as a school counselor. Before becoming a school counselor, I was a teacher for 13 years, teaching 6th - 8th grades. I enjoy being a Yaya to my sweet grandbabies, watching Tennessee Volunteer football, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
