I was born in Tennessee and spent most of elementary school there.  I spent a couple of years in Pennsylvania then moved to Alabama, where I graduated from Bob Jones High school in Madison, Alabama.  I earned my bachelors and masters degrees from Auburn University in elementary education but added a middle school endorsement in mathematics because I wanted to be able to teach through the 8th grade.  I taught 7th and 8th grade math at Sanford Middle School from 2001-2021 then was given an opportunity to expand my love of teaching mathematics to all of Lee County through a math "coach" posititon.   I will be serving teachers in grades 7 -12 at all four Lee County Schools.
