I was born on a mountain top in Tennessee, no really, just like Davy Crocket.

I grew up in Auburn and graduated from Auburn High in 1988. I graduated from Western Michigan University in 1995 with a degree in accounting. I received my Master’s Degree in Education from Troy University.

I have taught in Lee County for over 25 years. I have taught every grade at some level except 2nd. I missed out on that one.

I am starting my 9th year at Sanford.

I teach 7th/8th grade Science and Robotics. 

Students interested in robotics should contact me. My email address is on this website. We participate in the Vex Robotics Competition, and may soon add the First Tech Challenge. Robotics does involve some time commitment, just like participating in a sport and there are required practices. The schedule will be announced within the first week of school.
