Welcome!

I am originally from Hoover, AL. This is my 9th year at the Smiths Station Freshman Center. In my first 8 years, I served as a World History and Contemporary World Issues teacher. I am excited about taking on a new role as Assistant Principal. I earned a bachelor's degree in Social Science Education from Auburn University in 2013 and a Master's in Instructional Leadership in 2018. 

Ninth grade is a huge transition year for students as they grow from the middle school mindset to the high school world of credits and GPA. In this new position, I look to be an advocate for every student, every day. I am available anytime via email at corona.luke@lee.k12.al.us.
