My name is Virginia Stephens. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and a Master’s degree in Secondary Science Education, both from Auburn University. I have been teaching since 2011. I spent 10 years at Smiths Station Freshman Center teaching Biology, Honors Biology, Yearbook, and Credit Recovery. I have been at Smiths Station High School since 2021 teaching Physical Science, Honors Physical Science, Research & Design in Biology, and Environmental Science. In 2024, I began sponsoring the SSHS Color Guard, as well as becoming a Junior Class Sponsor.
