Mrs. Lorie Ward Harrison

Welcome!!!  I am excited about the upcoming school year and a great year of learning in Computer Essentials. Computer Essentials is an 18 week semester course in the Career Technical Education Business/Management Program.

I have been teaching at Smiths Station Junior High going on 15 years and  enjoy what I teach. I was very involved in Career Tech Education formerly known as Vocational Education in high school and a member of FBLA.   My high school involvement and Career Tech Education teacher inspired me to teach.   I am a native of Phenix City, the daughter of the late Jim Ward and LouAnn Ward Smith. I have one brother, Eric Ward. I have been married for 32 years to Kenny Harrison.  We have two children, Kendall Harrison Jenkins, 24, is newly married and a  graduate of Troy University and my youngest, Logan, is 17 and a 12th grader at Smiths Station High School.  My husband Kenny is the Director of Public Safety Programs/Fire Science Instructor at Chattahoochee Valley Community College. We are members of  Smiths Station Baptist Church and we love the Auburn Tigers.  My hobbies are spending quality time with my family,  camping, shopping,  watching/attending Auburn football games and traveling to the beach.   GO PANTHERS AND WAR EAGLE!!!
