Welcome! I am delighted to be your child's STEM Teacher. This academic year will be filled with growth, learning, and enjoyable experiences.

I was born and raised in Forkland, Alabama. The inspiration to pursue a career in education came from my aunt, who is now a retired educator. I hold a Bachelor's Degree from Alabama A & M University and a Master's Degree from Auburn University. Additionally, I am a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

For the past 21 years, I have been happily married to my wonderful husband, Michael, who is a Smiths Station graduate. Together, we have two beautiful children, Evan (17) and Mikayla (13). During my free time, I enjoy reading books, watching movies and sports, and cherishing moments with my family. With over 25 years of teaching experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the classroom. I am a highly qualified teacher and hold certification as an Alabama STEM Teacher. Furthermore, I have completed training in ARI (Alabama Reading Initiative), AMSTI (Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative), and OGAP (Math).

I am eagerly looking forward to this new academic year, where we will embark on a journey of learning and personal growth together!
