Welcome to fourth grade! This will be a year of lots of learning, personal and social development, and a year your child will reflect on in years to come. I look forward to working with you as a partner in your child's education for a successful year.

This is my twenty-third year teaching fourth grade at South Smiths Station Elementary School. Through the years, I have taught all subjects (Grammar, Spelling, Reading, Math, Science, and AL History). Presently, I am teaching Reading, Grammar/ Writing, and AL History.   I am involved with extracurricular activities, including being the Beta Club sponsor for our school.

I enjoy teaching and making a positive difference in a child's life. My goal for this year is to teach in a way that my students can apply what they learn to everyday life. I want my students to be prepared for the challenges they will face in their academic years and career, as well as realize that they can make a difference in the world around them today, and in the future.
