Welcome to my 1st grade class at Wacoochee Elementary School! I am looking forward to a great school year!

Here is a little info about me:

I grew up in Columbus, Georgia and graduated from Shaw High School. I earned a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Troy University.

I taught Kindergarten at Smiths Station Primary School for 6 years. I then taught 2nd grade at South SSES for 10 years! Now, I enjoy teaching 1st grade! I am excited to start my 20th year teaching in Lee County!

I am the very proud mother of Timm and Bradley McGonegle. Timm is a 2016 graduate of SSHS and a graduate of Auburn University. He is married to our sweet daughter in law, Gabie!  Timm was on the 1st ever Baseball State Championship team for SSHS! Bradley is a 2023 graduate of Smiths Station High School.  I also love that my husband teaches 9th grade at Smiths Station High School!

I love cheering for the Smiths Station Panthers, Atlanta Braves, and Auburn Tigers! 

I work with an AMAZING team of teachers, administrators, and staff at Wacoochee! Together, we are working hard to provide exceptional education for our children. I love being part of our Wacoochee Family! I know you will too!
