Hello, My name is Maria Moore. I am from Columbus, Georgia. I moved to Alabama in 1996. I have been married for close to 30 years and have a daughter and two sons. My daughter Kayla and my oldest son Tyler,  graduated from SSHS. My youngest son Lane, is currently a junior at SSHS.

 

I have taught at South for the last twelve years. I taught kindergarten, 5^th grade, and 6^th grade.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading and baking.

 

I earned my bachelor's degree and my master's degree in Elementary Education from Troy University.
