Bus Drivers Needed
The Lee County Board of Education is seeking bus drivers
Requirements:
- Be insurable
- Attend a local free driver-training course for a minimum of 8 hours
- Attend a State class for 12 hours
- Pursue a Class B CDL license with P and S endorsements and have a CDL Learner's Permit from the Department of Public Safety
- Complete and pass a physical exam
- Submit to a background check/fingerprint and drug screening process.
- There is a cost for the background check/fingerprint of $55, $43.50 for Class B CDL with P & S endorsements, and $23.50 for CDL Learner's Permit.
- All driver training classes are free of charge.

Employment Benefits Include:
- Salary range is $13,628.00 to $17,062.00 per year
- Blue Cross Blue Shield major medical insurance
- Earn nine (9) sick days per year from September to May
- Earn five (5) personal days per year
- Participation in the State of Alabama Retirement Plan
