Our teachers are more than just teachers—they’re counselors, coaches, mentors, and friends who pour their hearts into shaping the future every single day. They deserve a full month of gratitude from all of us!
Take a moment to thank the special teachers who have made an impact in your life or your child's.
“Behind every achievement is a teacher helping a student take the next step, whether that means building confidence in reading, mastering a challenging math concept or discovering a new interest in science. Thank Alabama Teachers Month is our opportunity to celebrate those everyday efforts and the educators who make a lasting difference in the lives of their students. I encourage every Alabamian to find a way this month to show our teachers how much they are valued and appreciated.”
— Dr. Eric Mackey, Alabama State Superintendent of Education
“I was proud to proclaim this month as Thank Alabama Teachers Month to recognize the incredible educators who shape Alabama’s future one classroom at a time,” said Governor Ivey. “Our teachers inspire, challenge and believe in our students every single day. As a former teacher myself, I know there’s no greater reward than seeing your students succeed. Thank you, Alabama teachers.”
Throughout November, Alabamians are encouraged to take part in Thank Alabama Teachers Month by recognizing the educators who have made a difference in their lives and communities. To learn more about the 7th annual Thank Alabama Teachers Month, follow
