    Grading Policy

Class Work: Classwork consists of a weekly math sheet, handouts, investigations, notebook checks, and any other material covered during a class period. The weekly math sheet is handed out on Monday and will be due on Friday. Students have all week to work on it. Whatever is not completed in class throughout the week, must be finished at home. They may turn it in early throughout the week for me to check for accuracy. Please be sure that work is shown on a separate sheet of paper with work neatly displayed. If there is no work, there is NO CREDIT! They must write each answer using a complete sentence and also add a unit of measure if applicable. Classwork accounts for 60% of the math grade.

Homework: Classwork that is not completed in class, must be finished at home.

Late work: Students will lose 10 points for late work.

Incomplete Work: Students will be required to finish incomplete work at home. Students will not be allowed to take a zero. I expect all work to be completed and turned in on time.

Tests/Quizzes: A mid-term and final will be given every nine weeks. Students must review the material in their notebook every day. Tests and Quizzes account for 40% of the math grade.
