Hello! My name is Madison Franklin. This is my 10th year at South SSES, and I am excited about the new school year! I taught 2nd grade my first year before finding my favorite spot in 1st grade. This will be my 9th year teaching 1st grade. I have a true passion for my job and I love it deeply.

I grew up in Phenix City, Alabama and attended school in the Smiths Station K-12 schools. I then went to CVCC where I obtained my Associate's degree. After CVCC, I went to The University of Alabama where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I also have my Master’s degree in Elementary Education from The University of West Alabama.  My husband, Tyler, and I have the most precious baby boy, Turner. We also have a fur baby named Ella. I love spending my free time with my friends and family. I enjoy shopping, crafting and going to Disney World. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
