GET TO KNOW ME

I am SUPER excited about beginning my 1st year teaching Geometry & Data Analysis at Smiths Station Freshman Center!

This will be my 14th year teaching. I have taught 6th grade for the past 12 years and taught 1 year in 2nd grade.

This year I am coaching Varsity & JV Volleyball. I am also the Booster Club President for the SSHS Softball Program.

I was born and raised in the Smiths Station/ Phenix City, Alabama area and even graduated high school from SSHS. I earned my Bachelor's at Troy University and my Master's at UWA.

Currently, I live in Salem, Alabama, about 15 miles from Auburn University, with my husband and daughters.

We have 3 very active daughters; Kelsey (16), McKenzie (14), and Ally (5).

Kelsey is in the 11th grade at SSHS. She enjoys playing softball and flag football for Smiths Station. CATCHER & QB this year!!!

Kenzie is a Freshman this year at SSFC. She also enjoys playing softball, but she plays volleyball in the Fall. CATCHER & SETTER!!!

Ally is in Kindergarten at East SSES this year! She enjoys gymnastics, tumbling, and 5 minute hacks or crafts. She is WILD!!!

In what little free time we have, I enjoy walking, traveling, Auburn football, spending time with our family, organizing, and shopping.
