Mrs. Amber Manderson
I’m a 6th grade teacher at East Smiths Station Elementary School in Smiths Station, Alabama.
This will be my 10th year teaching at East. I have taught 6th grade for 8 years and I have also taught 1 year in 2nd grade.
I was born and raised in the Smiths Station/ Phenix City, Alabama areas.
Currently, I live in Salem, Alabama, about 15 miles from Auburn University, with my husband and daughters.
We have 3 very active daughters, Kelsey (12), McKenzie (10), and Ally (1).
Kelsey is going into the 7th grade. Her passion is playing Softball & Catcher is her position. Her favorite subject is Math.
She is very Independent and can hold her own. She has beautiful, curly, blonde hair. She recently made the SSJHS Volleyball team.
In the Fall she will tryout for the SSJHS Softball team. Currently, she plays travel fast pitch softball for the 14U Peaches in Columbus, GA.
Kenzie is going into the 5th grade. Her passion is playing Softball & 3rd Base, Left Field, or Pitcher is her position.
Her favorite subject is also Math. She is very outgoing and motherly.She has a terrific personality.
This past year she was a member of the robotics club. Kenzie is built like a gymnast and is very strong.
Currently, she plays travel fast pitch softball for the 12U Peaches in Columbus, GA.
Ally is a very busy, sassy toddler going on 30. She loves her paci, blanky, and following around her sisters.
Her favorite toys are her farm animals, stuffed animals, and any and all balls
She just recently began swimming (with a puddle jumper) and has become quite the little fish.
She has a very social personality and will blab to anyone, especially at ball tournaments with anyone who shares their food with her!
My two oldest daughters play travel softball so we stay extremely busy!
In what little free time we have, I enjoy walking, traveling, Auburn football, spending time with our family, organizing, and shopping!
